Evangelismos Station

Directly in front of the Evangelismos Hospital is Evangelismos Metro Station (Line 3, Egaleo-Airport).

This subterranean station houses a permanent exhibition of antiquities found in the excavations that were conducted during its construction including ancient burial grounds, and parts of the 6th century Pisistratus Aqueduct. These and other collections make up the small museum that passengers visit each time they board a train or exit the Metro.

Additionally, the entrance to the station is decorated with a modern sculpture by famed artist Chryssa.
