Greek National Opera Unveils Bold New Season

The Greek National Opera (GNO), supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, in Attica, the Greater Athens Region, unveils its bold 2025/26 season under the theme: “The opera of the future arises from the womb of the past.” Featuring 7 new productions, 5 revivals, world premieres, global tours, and historic firsts, the season blends heritage with innovation. Also featured: Falstaff, Flora mirabilis, Isadora Duck, and a rare authentic Carmen.
