The island’s westernmost beach is marked by the ruins of the Russian Navy’s Mediterranean base in the 19th century. Amenities include food stalls and sun beds. Swim across the cove to Daskalio, a small islet topped by a small church. Russian Bay is the last organized beach to the West. It has a canteen, organized and free beach. In the center of the beach are the ruins of the Admiralty of the Russian Mediterranean fleet of the 19th century. Nearby is the islet of Daskalio, which you can visit by swimming.
