One of the most traditional products of Greece is considered to be the jam-like “Spoon sweets”. This way the housewives, were preserving fruits and nuts leftovers from harvests, by keeping them for a long time in the syrup. Since Poros is known for its citrus, spoon sweets made with bitter orange and mainly lemon, are local products of the island.
