Catholic Cathedral of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite
The Cathedral of St. Dionysios the Areopagite is located in one of the most central parts of the city of Athens . The design of the Temple was developed up by the German architect Leo Von Klenze and implemented by the Athenian architect Lysandros Kavtantzoglou . The Church is a three-aisled Basilica and its reconstruction began in 1860. The main works were completed in 1865, and then the inauguration took place.
