Olympic Indoor Fitness Center of Faliro
The Faliro Olympic Indoor Fitness Center was built for the needs of the Athens Olympic Games (2004) and hosted the tae kwon do event, as well as the preliminary handball phase. It is a modern gym that can accommodate up to 4,000 people, with the seating being variable , depending on the event it hosts, providing a free area of 3,700 square meters. The ellipsoidal shape of its metal roof makes it look like the Stadium of Peace and Friendship (SPF) in Faliro bay, which is why it has been characterized as the small SPF.
