Mavro Lithari-Evereden Beach- Municipality of Saronikos

Mavro Lithari beach is located 40 kilometers from Athens between Saronida and Anavyssos. It is a fully organized beach with fine pebbles and mostly sand in and out of the water, although the waters are smooth but deep. The name of the beach (meaning Black Stone) was given due to the massive black rock that stands in the center of the beach and is its characteristic feature. There are bars with music and straw umbrellas. Visitors can enjoy the beach as well as the services offered by shops and the facilities of the Municipality of Saronikos. The beach has been awarded with a blue flag for the last 22 years, an award for the purity of the waters as well as the services to the public. A cosmopolitan beach that has a Snack Bar, Cocktail Bar, restaurant, the distinguished sunbathing area "platinum lounge", a professional sea sports school and a marine leisure park. While every afternoon a small ceremony takes place on the beach where people gather on the pier to enjoy the sun setting behind Aegina.
