Konstantinos Augoustinos Scout Mountaineering Shelter

The Konstantinos Augoustinos shelter, located in the Katsimidi area of Mount Parnitha, at an altitude of 708 metres, has been part of the 15th Athens Scout System since 1990 and has hosted more than 70 groups on more than 250 excursions and camps. Its interior consists of a small kitchen (14 square metres), a storeroom (2.5 square metres) and the main room with a fireplace (25 square metres), which can accommodate 20-30 people. All the work done on the shelter over the years has been done with volunteer work from adult and child members of our system and with limited financial resources. The renovation works of the Konstantinos Augoustinos shelter are at such a high level that they allow the safe accommodation of the Scout System's departments within the shelter. The Konstantinos Augoustinos Shelter operates under the responsibility of the 15th Scout System.
