This holiday season, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in the heart of Attica, the Greater Athens Region, invites visitors to immerse themselves in a dreamlike experience at the Light Installations Festival.

For the eighth consecutive year, the SNFCC transforms into a stunning landscape of light, featuring six spectacular installations by both renowned international and Greek artists. The theme of this year’s festival, “Dreamy Dreams: Dreamy Landscapes”, offers an enchanting journey through a world of fantasy, where cutting-edge technology and simplicity converge to create mesmerizing visual experiences. Visitors can stroll through a park filled with swirling stars, bright planets, and pulsating lights, while contemplating the mystical rituals and soundscapes that make the installations come alive.

The festival showcases works from a diverse group of artists, including Squidsoup (UK), Vendel & de Wolf (Netherlands), Stichting Barstow (Netherlands), Hans E. Madsen and Frederik D. Hougs (Canada), as well as Greek artists Everything Works and Eleni Maragaki & George Nikas. Each installation offers a unique perspective on light, from interactive, immersive experiences to thought-provoking pieces that explore the relationship between technology, nature, and humanity. With installations like “WAVE”, “ERROR”, “MOONBURN”, “PRESSURE” and “EFCHI [wish]”, the SNFCC invites you to explore a landscape where art, light, and imagination unite.
