SEGAS and the Municipality of Athens/OPANDA are starting the great effort for the “restart” of road races and the return to the sociability of the lives of all of us, with the start of this effort, the organization of the Athens Half Marathon on September 12, 2021, in collaboration with the Region of Attica and Major Sponsor ERGO Insurance.

In the organization of the Athens Half Marathon 2021, the rules and instructions of the EODY will be applied, observing the Health Protocol for Conducting Road Races outside the Stadium of the General Secretariat of Sports. In the framework of the implementation of the rules and the Protocol to ensure Public Health, runners who will be fully vaccinated and who have a certificate of COVID-19 disease up to 15 days before receiving the Athens Half Marathon 2021 can register and participate in the organization their participation materials from the Registration Center, i.e. until the Saturday before the match.

The organization of the Athens Half Marathon 2021 includes the following Road Races:

• Road Half Marathon, which will be held in a block of 500 people at 07.30 and will be completed by 11.00.
• 5km road races (Race A & Race B). Race 5km A will be held at 10.45 and Race 5km B at 12.00, in blocks of 500 people respectively.
