The Galatsi Olympic Hall is a multipurpose indoor hall located in Galatsi, Athens. The Galatsi Olympic Hall has a capacity of 6,200 seats, of which 5,141 are fixed seats in the upper section. The remainders are folding bleachers in the lower section. The hall is located next to Veikou Grove in Galatsi, an area north of the centre of Athens. It is relatively easy to reach by car, as it is located on one of the city’s main thoroughfares, Veikou Avenue.
The Galatsi Indoor Stadium was built specifically for the Athens Olympic Games to host the rhythmic gymnastics and table tennis competitions. In addition to the main hall, there is a closed training hall next to it. In recent years, the Olympic complex has been renovated and converted into a theatre to host major performances from around the world.
