6th Athens Biennale 2018: "ΑΝΤΙ"

The exhibition that has become an institution in the visual arts scene of the city, presents its 6th edition from October 26th until December 9th, that will be hosted at the TTT building (main venue) on Stadiou street, curated by Stefanie Hessler, Kostis Stafylakis and Poka-Yio.

More than 100 international artists participate in the exhibition, which this year is entitled "ΑΝΤΙ", aiming to focus on phenomena of normalisation of resistance and non-conformity in modern life: in politics, in social movements, in internet culture, in video games, in TV series, in advertising, in the music industry. The scope of the exhibition is, among others, to exit the bubble in which the world of culture has been living and converse with the audience.

The 6th Athens Biennale 2018 will be hosted in a building complex on Stadiou street, which features the iconic building of the former Hellenic Telecommunications Organization central offices, the Esperia Palace Hotel, the historic Benakeios Library and the building on 4 Kolokotroni street.

This year's Biennale is co-funded by the Hellenic Republic and the European Union, under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, with the support of the City of Athens and the Region of Attica.
