Join us at the B&E Goulandris Foundation in Attica, the Greater Athens Region, for a unique olive oil tasting experience!

Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s Olive Picking, the Greek chef Aristotelis Megoulas invites visitors of the museum to discover the magic of Greek olive oil. Each month, explore award-winning varieties from different regions of Greece, learn how to identify high-quality olive oil, and experience its role in Greek gastronomy. Enjoy fresh sourdough bread from the AKRA restaurant, gluten-free bread from the Asterisque bakery, and taste a dish created by the chef to highlight the featured olive oil’s distinct flavor. Don’t miss the chance to meet Greek olive oil producers, take home a sample of their variety, and receive a surprise gift inspired by Van Gogh’s work. Every session brings something new!

On Thursday February 20, the event will be held in English at the Museum’s Café-Restaurant, as the Foundation wants to give English-speaking audiences as well the opportunity to discover the unknown aspects of olive oil.
