Jazz at the Museum

As part of the “Jazz at the Museum” series, which explores how jazz interacts with various forms of art, the B & E Goulandris Museum invites visitors to a series of captivating performances!

On December 27, 2024, enjoy “Father & Son“, a unique concert featuring the father-son duo Dimitris and Nestor Vassilakis. With Dimitris Vassilakis, an internationally renowned saxophonist, and his son Nestor, a rising star in the jazz scene, the duo will present new compositions accompanied by a talented ensemble in an intimate performance that explores the power of music intertwined with poetry.

The series continues in 2025 with Dimitris Tsakas Trio’s performance titled “Genesis” on January 17, followed by Harris Labrakis Quartet and their show “The art of humble materials and music”, an exploration of the relationship between art and music on February 7. The season concludes with Petros Klampanis’ “Rooftop Stories” on March 28, a unique audiovisual project that blends music and video.
