Agios Kosmas National Youth Sports Center

The Agios Kosmas (Saint Kosmas) National Youth Sports Center was inaugurated and opened to the public in July 1961. It has the following sports facilities: Indoor training facilities: Multi-purpose hall - Weightlifting, basketball, Wrestling - fencing, tennis court, judo, athletics, artistic / rhythmic gymnastics, muscle strengthening hall. Outdoor training facilities: Grass football fields, outdoor track and field training, throwing training facility, basketball courts, tennis court, hockey court. The swimming pool complex was built in 1984 and includes 3 open Olympic-size swimming pools (50x25m) which can be used for swimming and water polo, 1 indoor Olympic-standard diving pool and 1 indoor muscle strengthening hall - gym, as well as 3 changing room complexes. In the complex there are also 112 guest houses, with an area of 18 square meters, and are granted to high-level athletes who are members of the National Teams and train at the facilities of the Agios Kosmas National Youth Sports Center.
