The Cathedral of St. Dionysios the Areopagite is located in one of the most central parts of the city of Athens. The design of the Temple was developed up by the German architect Leo Von Klenze and implemented by the Athenian architect Lysandros Kavtantzoglou. The Church is a three-aisled Basilica and its reconstruction began in 1860. The main works were completed in 1865, and then the inauguration took place.
