We renew our appointment for the fourth year.

Four days full of real life images.

4th year | 4 days | 4 thematic categories 4 masterclass

The Hellenic Documentary Union, the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, for the third consecutive year, from March 29  until April 1st, co-organize a tribute to the Greek documentary titled “With the eyes open” in Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens and we are looking forward to it with impatience.

This year, each day will be dedicated to films that represent one of the following four documentary thematic categories:

historical / political

social

ethnological / environment

musician.

As our goal for this year is to share the experience of each co-creator of a film and to answer questions about different skills  in producing a documentary, the specific conditions, challenges and … the “secrets” of every profession, every day one documentary film of each category will be selected for a one hour masterclass.  Involved in each masterclass will be all the actors of the selected films (director, producer, photo director, researcher, montage, musician) and together we will live and share unique experiences.

Many of the films that  we will enjoy have been screened at the Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival while a significant number of them have won awards. After the end of each movie, Q & A will follow with the director.

The screenings will start at 6pm in our favorite venue: Amphitheater – Aerofilakio 1.
