Nestled two kilometers east of Dapia, Spetses’ Old Harbor transports visitors back to the island’s 19th-century heyday, when the sailing ships of the Spetses people traversed the Aegean and the Mediterranean, reaching as far as the Black Sea and the Atlantic. The shipyards, still active today, and the lighthouse with its cannons, now home to an exhibition of sculptures created by modern artists, complete the picture of the old days.
Yet, amidst the “yesterday” lies a vibrant “today”: the heart of nightlife beats here. Restaurants and taverns, bars and clubs with loud music promise an unforgettable night.
