Glyfada Golf Course

On an area of approximately 530 acres and in a natural forest of pine trees, there is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. It is an 18-hole course signed by Donald Harradine. The first games started in 1966 and since then it has hosted, in addition to the daily sporting events of professionals and amateurs, major sporting events, such as the World Cup (1979), the Mediterranean Games (1991), the European Seniors Tour (1999 to 2001) and the European Group Cup (2004). The golf course in Glyfada is located in an area with hills and a lake. The Glyfada golf facilities are located on a landscaped area of approximately 530 acres and includes: –The main golf course 18-hole –Training courts –Golf academy for young athletes –Pro – Shop for purchasing and renting equipment –2 Tennis courts –Restaurant– bar –Venues –Club with distinguished services for conferences, seminars, social & cultural events with a capacity of 2,000 people –Changing rooms –Parking & ancillary facilities as well as the church of Saint Demetrius.
