Spetsathlon is one of the newest sports events that takes place in Spetses, its first event took place in April 2013 and since then it has been held every April. The co-organizers of this impressive sporting event are the Spetsathlon Organizing Committee and the Hellenic Triathlon Federation, which, using its experience from international events, provides the guarantees for a perfect race in every respect, the procedures of which will be controlled by three internationally certified judges of the Federation.
The Spetsathlon, therefore, consists of the Triathlon Race (this, in turn, is divided into 2 routes: Spetses Triathlon Sprint -750m swim, 25km bike & 5km run- and Spetses Triathlon Endurance -1,500m swim, 50km .bike & 10 km run) and the Cycling Race (25 km – full circuit of the island).
