From May 16 to 18, 2025, the beautiful island of Spetses in the Saronic Gulf transforms into a thrilling hub of athleticism and community spirit with Spetsathlon 2025 — one of the largest triathlon events in Attica, the Greater Athens Region! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a passionate newcomer, Spetsathlon welcomes you to push your limits and celebrate sport in one of Athens Attica’s most iconic island destinations.

Choose your challenge: the Spetses Triathlon Sprint (750m swim / 25km cycle / 5km run) or the Spetses Triathlon Endurance (1500m swim / 50km cycle / 10km run) — both open to individual athletes and relay teams. Swimmers can dive into the 1km or 3km open water races (wetsuits allowed), while cycling fans can race the scenic 25km bike route. Runners of all levels can join the energizing 5K run.

All participants will receive medals, and age group awards will recognize outstanding performances. Youth over the age of 12 can also join select races.
