Overlooking Votsalakia Beach, the Siraggeio (or Paraskevas Cave) is believed to have been a sacred place dedicated to the local hero, Siraggos and was later used as an Asklipieion, or healing temple.

Discovered in the late 19th century, it clearly underwent multiple alterations during the Roman era. Between the end of World War II and 1968, the 12-metre-deep cave was used to house the Paraskevas Tavern.

In the farthest recesses of this cave, which is well decorated with mosaics, there are two enigmatic graves.
