Rentis Manor

Bearing strong Art Nouveau influences, Rentis House was built in 1928 from designs by Vassilios Tsagris, a proponent of neo-academic eclecticism, the architectural trend dominating Europe at the time.

Located at the corner of Vasilissis Sofias Avenue and Merlin Street, the manor was built for the Rentis family, famous for its politicians.

The building also bears elements of the Viennese School of architecture, notably as represented by Austrian architect Otto Wagner.
