Ermou Pedestrian Street

Ermou Street is a thriving pedestrian destination with a great history. Combining modern commercial activity with old-town atmosphere, Ermou Street starts from the west side of Syntagma Square and leads to Monastiraki.

Its bustling sidewalks are lined with large stores, boutique designer shops, little snack bars and coffee shops. In the middle of the pedestrian area, the historic 11th-century Kapnikarea stands out, with its beautiful murals by Fotis Kondoglou.

Ermou Street is the busiest and most expensive commercial street in Greece, making it a must-see destination.
