Hellenic Motor Museum

The Hellenic Motor Museum is situated in the heart of Athens near the National Archaeological Museum, in a commercial center.

The museum has 4.000 m2 spanning three floors dedicated to the evolution and technology of the motor vehicle, from an 1895 Hungarian fire engine to a Ferrari 308 GTS.

The museum is the culmination of Theodoros N. Charagionis’ childhood dream. The executive chairman of the Charagionis Group sought to document the history of the emblem of the industrial revolution. The museum boasts a highly-coveted private collection of over 300 vehicles, and contributes to road safety by hosting educational screenings and lectures.

Highlights of the collection include Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant’s 1959 Chrysler Imperial, Formula 1 driver Lorenzo Bandini’s personal 1953 Lancia Aurelia and a 1979 Cadillac Seville with Gucci-designed interior and exterior trim.

While touring the museum, visitors can admire unique automotive exhibits that one would normally only read about.

The museum offers an intriguing contemporary venue for corporate and social events. Each of its three floors has been designed to easily host special events, from corporate events to weddings and christenings, team functions and children’s parties.

The Hellenic Motor Museum also features a 200-seat conference centre, a 3D cinema, gift shop, eight-storey underground garage and luxury-resort-style central concourse, with restaurants and coffee shops.
