Dapia

Dapia marks the centre of Spetses and is the ideal starting point for exploration, whether you’re heading east toward the Old Harbour, to the western part of the island or to the many sightseeing destinations within the city itself.

As the island’s central harbour, Dapia services the ferry boats, Flying Dolphins and catamarans that travel between the island and other ports. During the Revolution of 1821, the cannons protecting the island of Spetses and its naval activities were located here.

Today, Dapia is the liveliest area of the city, offering visitors trendy clubs, bars and restaurants, as well as many historical attractions, such as the Statue of Bouboulina, Posidoneion Square and the Chancellorship.
