This was the home of politician Kyriakoulis Mavromichalis, named after his famous grandfather, leader of the Revolution of 1821.
Located at the corner of Amalias and Xenophontos Streets, this three-storey, neoclassical mansion was built c.1870 after designs by Theophile Hansen. It was listed as protected in 1975 and now houses the European Parliament Delegation in Greece.
Following significant damage from the 1999 earthquake, the building underwent a complete renovation, which was finished in 2007.
