The Ionic Centre of Scientific and Cultural Studies is a charitable institution founded in 1977 on the island of Chios. Its primary goal is the research and understanding of the Ionic-era.

Since 1987 it has also operated a branch in Athens, near all the major streets and Metro stations, including Syntagma, Monastiraki and Acropolis.

For more than two decades, the centre has collaborated with foreign universities, creating educational programmes for both foreign citizens and Greek youth living abroad. The centre also organizes educational trips, scientific conferences, concerts and special art events.
