One of the most interesting attractions in Hydra is the family-owned Rafalias Pharmacy, an elegant, neoclassical building opened in 1890 by Evagellos Rafalias.

The pharmacy’s interior has been lovingly preserved exactly as it was the day it opened. Though medical examinations no longer take place here, the pharmacy still serves its modern-day customers with a taste of history and tradition.
